Premier League – Mario Camilleri 0 Ilai Zammit Marmara 1 (HT 0-0)
Ilai won this match with a goal in the last 3 minutes of the game. It was a great goal which left little chance for Mario to save with his keeper. In the first half the match was very balanced with most possession being done in midfield. Both players lost a few open chances at goal. In the second half the story didn’t change, until an invention by Ilai which created the goal. In the last seconds of the game Mario pressed for the equalizer but Ilai’s goalkeeping proved to be at his best with fine saves to end the match with a victory.

Premier League – Joseph Bugeja 1 Matthew Sapiano 1 (HT 0-0)
This was a fair result that saw both players having their best moments. In the first half Matthew had more possession with good passing and ideas but could not manage to pass through Joseph’s solid defense. In the second half, Matthew opened the score in the third minute then changing tactic to operate with counter-attacks. With 3 minutes remaining in the game, Joseph managed to score the equiliser with a good move which opened Matthew’s defense. In the end both players were satisfied with a draw.

Premier League – Stefan Pace 0 Mario Camilleri 0 (HT 0-0)
This match started off with Mario dominating the first half. This happened until the last seconds of the half when he tried a last second shot that went wide. In the second half, Stefan’s performance improved enjoying much more possession, managing to attack Mario’s defense. He came close to scoring from a long range shot that hit the post. The last chance on goal was Mario’s but Stefan was solid with his keeper saving the shot to get a point out of this match. This game had some nervous moments, but the good decisions taken by the excellent refereeing of Ilai Zammit Marmara managed to keep control of the match.
