Sunday Lunch & Bingo Fund Raising Activities

On Sunday 26th November we organised another fund raising activity for our members and friends which consisted of a pasta lunch at the St Francis of Assisi hall in Birkirkara. This was followed by bingo games in the afternoon, during which we also served hot snacks, tea and coffee. A nice number of around 50 persons attended these activities aimed to raise funds to cater for the club's ever increasing expenses, as these past two years we have almost doubled our competitions.

The following team was instrumental for the success of the activity:
Simon Bezzina & Edward Cassar (chefs)
Mrs Camilleri (preparation of Bolognese sauce)
Ritianne Pace (preparation of Salmon sauce and apetizers)
Ilai Zammit Marmara (preparation of Carbonara sauce and serving drinks to
our guests)
Mario Camilleri, Mark Zammit and Kenneth Attard (serving pasta to our
guests and helping out in the organisation of the activity)
Stefan Pace (organisation of the activity and serving drinks to our guests)
Claudine Attard (preparation of sweets and cakes)
Jean Carl Tabone (serving hot snacks to our guests)

A very special thanks goes for the members and friends who attended the activities for their continuous support. This is an encouraging response for us and in the future we will hope for an even bigger turnout given the number of members in the club.
