This year the Christmas Cup has been organised in 2 categories, these were the Junior Christmas Cup and Senior Christmas Cup. The players taking part in the Premier division in the league took part in the senior Christmas Cup, while the players taking part in the Junior division took part in the Junior Christmas Cup.

7 players participated in the Junior Christmas Cup. 2 groups were played, with the first group consisting of Sergio Degabriele, Darren Bezzina, Matthew Pace and Brandon Farrugia while the second group consisted of Edward Said, Gianluca Degabriele and Adam Gatt. The first 2 players from each group qualified to play the semi finals. The winner of group A played against the runner up of group B, and the runner up of group A played against the winner of group B.

The semi-finals were as follows:
Matthew Pace vs. Adam Gatt 0-0 (Sudden Death 0-1)
Brandon Farrugia vs. Edward Said 4-0

The final was then won by Adam Gatt winning 2-0 against Brandon Farrugia.

8 players took part in the senior Christmas Cup. The competition started with the quarter finals. The quarter finals were as follows:
Ilai Zammit Marmara' vs. Patrick Pace 1-0
Mario Camilleri vs. Matthew Sapiano 5-1
Stefan Pace vs. Mark Zammit 1-0
Kenneth Attard vs. Joe Bugejja 3-1

The semi-finals were:
Kenneth Attard vs. Mario Camilleri 2-6
Ilai Zammit Marmara' vs Stefan Pace 0-0 (Shots 2-1)

The final was then won by Ilai Zammit Marmara' against Mario Camilleri 2-0.  This was Ilai's best performance of the day, which produced a goal in each half to secure a victory and win the first competition of the season.
