Last Saturday, 19th December 2009 Stefan Pace won the Christmas Cup after beating Ilai Zammit Marmara' in the final. This was the first title of the season and most importantly the first title to be won inside the new Hamrun premises!

The competition started off with two groups of three players. The first two players would qualify to the semi final stage. It was Ilai and Stefan who qualified from group 1, whilst Mario Camilleri and Matthew Sapiano qualified from group 2. In the first semi final Ilai managed to beat Matthew with a 2-0 score line, whilst Stefan beat Mario with a narrow 1-0 score line.

In the final Stefan managed to beat Ilai with a 2-1 score line.
