Last Saturday, 19th December 2009 Adam Gatt won the Junior Christmas Cup beating Darren Bezzina in the final.

Newcomer Sandro Vella played his first official matches when playing in this competition.. A total of eight players took part. The competition started off with the quarter final stage with no real surprises occurring in that stage. Adam Gatt, Darren Carabott, Darren Bezzina and Sandro Vella qualified to the semi finals.

In the semi finals Darren Bezzina won his match against Darren Carabott with a narrow 1-0 score line, whilst Adam won comfortably against Sandro 7-1. The final was a very tight encounter with Adam coming out victorious winning the match 1-0.
